GRC is mainly made in two ways:
① Spray method: manually or mechanically spray the fiber and slurry onto the mold at the same time, which can be used to make agricultural components, cylinders, curtain wall panels, ventilation ducts and templates.
② Pre mixing method: pre mix the fiber and slurry, and then pour them on the mold, usually to make them vibrate. It can be used to make sun shield, planting basin, substation, junction box and drainage components.
When the GRC is made by spraying, the cement mortar and the cut AR glass fiber are sprayed from the spraying head to the appropriate mold at the same time. The cement mortar is fed into the spray gun by an adjustable pump and dispersed into particles by compressed air. AR glass fiber untwisted roving is fed into the jet head for cutting to a predetermined length, so that the cut yarn is sprayed into the dispersed mortar, thus forming a homogeneous fiber sand slurry layer on the mold. There are also several types of injection methods. The manual spraying method is that the operator directly sprays the material flow on the surface of the mold until it reaches a certain thickness. The shape of the material layer and the mold is completely consistent through the pressing roller, and the cement mortar penetrates into the fiber to eliminate air and make the material layer reach the required compactness. The mechanical spraying method is mainly used to produce flat or shallow products. When the die moves forward on a roller table or a horizontal belt, it passes through a transversely moving system equipped with a jet head. The fiber cement mortar mixture can be sprayed onto the mold. There is also the spray dehydration method, which can first use the mechanical spray method to form a continuous GRC material layer, and then dehydrate it to form a slab with certain plasticity.
The premixing method is to mix the cement, sand, water and additives in the chopped AR fiber raw sand in a mixer before molding. First of all, it is necessary to make high-quality slurry, which not only has the necessary workability, but also can make the fibers evenly dispersed in it; Next, mix the fiber into the slurry. According to the different molding methods, the premixing process can be divided into premixed pouring process and premixed spraying process. The premixed pouring process is similar to the process of precast concrete products, and the vibration process is often supplemented in the pouring process. Hainan GRC component
