GRC is a new type of inorganic composite material with light weight, high strength, high toughness and multi-function, which is made from alkali resistant glass fiber as reinforcement, sulphoaluminate low alkalinity cement as cementitious material and mixed with suitable aggregates to form a base material, through production processes such as spraying, mold casting, extrusion, slurry flow, etc., with relatively high cost. What are the main components and production processes of GRC components?


   I. Main components of GRC components
Cement:
The grc components must be supported by cement as the base material. The commonly used types of cement include hard sulphoaluminate cement, low alkalinity sulphoaluminate cement, etc. It can be selected according to actual requirements.
Fiber:
The fiber used in grc components must be alkali resistant glass fiber, which can also be divided into several types. Many foreign countries stipulate that the glass fiber zirconia in grc should be at least 16.5%, while domestic zirconia should be at least 16.5%.
Polymer:
It is composed of various chemicals in polymerization. The common one is propylene milk, which has an ideal effect.
Admixtures:
Adding appropriate amount of additives can improve the performance of grc, such as water reducer, plasticizer, retarder, etc. It should be noted that if there are steel materials in the grc, it is better not to add calcium chloride based additives.

   Second, the production process of GRC is:
Construction preparation → inspection of components entering the site → fabrication of various iron parts and supports → alignment of civil baseline of external wall → positioning and setting out according to GRC component specifications → installation of GRC components in place → caulking and repairing → curing → sub item acceptance.
The original building shall be measured according to the design drawings of architectural decoration, and the GRC components shall be designed in combination with the position of the steel skeleton arranged in the drawings and the requirements for the shape of the GRC components, so that the GRC components can match the size and position of the mesh and meet the appearance requirements of the decoration design. Production and processing of GRC components.
(1) Before production and processing, the construction drawings have been carefully checked, and the buildings have been retested, and the GRC line blanking size has been adjusted according to the actual size on site.
(2) GRC lines are used for production and die making, and the lines adopt external V-shaped mouth or concave staggered mouth.
(3) GRC lines are made of fast hardening sulphoaluminate low alkali cement and glass fiber. During fabrication, the mortar proportion of the first layer is 1:1, the thickness of coating is even (up to 1cm), and the crack resistant glass fiber mesh cloth is used to pave in place.
(4) The mortar ratio of the second layer is 1:2 dry dilution, with proper vibration, uniform thickness (1cm) and embedded at the same time Φ 6 Connect the rebar polishing welding point, and the mortar protective layer at the reinforcement part shall reach 1.5cm. The finished head or bevel edge shall keep the line clean and tidy.
(5) The GRC production process flow is as shown in the figure: making molds → binding reinforcement → the first layer of mortar and glass fiber → adding glass fiber grid cloth → the second layer of mortar, glass fiber, adding embedded parts → binding lines by classification → transportation and installation at the construction site.
