From a new starting point, this subject introduces the sketch teaching into the active rational thinking, so that students can understand by analogy, go deep into the structure with the thinking mode of sculpture, analyze and understand the structure, grasp the initiative of modeling from the understanding, get rid of the habit of drawing by hand rather than by brain, and greatly improve the teaching quality and learning efficiency. In the past work of sketching head portraits from life, students often had the problem that the five facial features of the drawing were not attached to the body. For example, the nose and ears of a person should be attached to the different orientations of the head. Due to the lack of body awareness of sculpture, students will not shape the head body first and then draw the five facial features, but copy the object. Although the shape and light and shade of the five facial features are depicted, the five facial features are still attached to the head shape without volume when looking back. When the subjective is aware of it, he will try his best to understand the edge of the body, and use the virtual and real processing of the edge to express the volume space. Ordinary people's visual experience is only the primary stage of understanding things, and only the surface factors of the image can be seen. Only through the training of sketch modeling and in-depth analysis and research on the body structure can we accurately grasp the essential structure of the image and actively shape it. One student said, "When drawing, I only believed in my own eyes and thought that what my eyes saw was the whole of the object. As a result, I fell into the mistake of copying the object. Now I understand that I should believe in my own understanding. Only on the basis of in-depth understanding of the object, can I actively shape the object under the control of sketch consciousness The performance of "eye - → brain - → hand" is a leap.
