When the foaming EPS beads are heated to above 90 ℃, the beads soften, and the vaporization of foaming agent can make the EPS beads expand 40-80 times.
Polystyrene material is widely used in the construction and packaging industry because of its light weight, earthquake resistance, fall resistance, heat insulation, sound absorption, heat preservation, self extinguishing, environmental protection, anti-aging, low cost, easy construction and other advantages.
To judge the quality of foam board, first judge whether it meets the apparent density of 18~22kg/m3. To put it simply, some manufacturers cut corners or failed to pass the process, failing to meet this standard or exceeding this standard can affect the product performance. It is good to weigh the mass of one cubic meter of foam board at 18~22kg.
The foam board is cut into 5cm thick and 1m long sheets, and then bent by hand. The bigger the bending radian, the better the quality, and the better the process, because the raw materials of the foam board are basically the same, and the quality is on the process level. In places with high level of craftsmanship in the south, five years ago, a pair of curves could be broken without breaking.
