Bronze carving refers to the process of making copper. In the process of casting, copper sculptures are relatively complex. They are usually formed with clay sculptures first, and then made with smelting and casting materials. There are many kinds of products, such as figure sculpture, animal sculpture, bronze Buddha statue, bronze bell, bronze tripod, bronze censer, etc., which are widely used. Sculpture generally refers to chiseling, carving and frustration on hard materials to remove unnecessary places and portray the desired image; Then sculpture is an independent three-dimensional solid art, and sculpture is a work formed on the carrier. It can be said that sculpture is the carrier of sculpture, but sculpture cannot be said to be the art of sculpture.
An important step in preserving bronze sculptures is the environment. Keep the environment dry and free of dust and air pollutants! The temperature of the greenhouse is controlled at 18 ℃ - 24 ℃, and the humidity is 40%- 50%。 When cleaning or maintaining the cast copper sculpture, pay special attention to prevent some harmful chemicals from entering from the outside, such as acid and chloride. In addition, isolation measures shall be taken when moving cast copper sculptures. Do not touch directly with your hands.
Be careful when cleaning bronze sculptures. Be sure to wipe away the dust with a clean soft cloth. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to blow away the dust where it is difficult to wipe the cloth in the carving groove. As the cast copper sculpture looks dim after being placed for a long time, it cannot be rubbed with cloth vigorously when cleaning. Gently wipe the surface of the cast bronze sculpture with cotton cloth to achieve polishing effect, while protecting the wax layer on the surface of the cast bronze sculpture.
