These cracks mostly occur between GRC line joints with large vertical and horizontal lengths, resulting in obvious line segmentation, which seriously affects the external finishing effect. GRC product lines are mostly made into 1.5~3m/piece in the external decoration, and multiple connections are installed together to outline the effect of the external wall. On the one hand, due to its heavy self weight, the force is uneven during installation, and cracks occur between adjacent joints due to its self weight; On the other hand, the lines are connected by several pieces during installation, and the joints are often filled with 1:2 cement mortar during construction, whose thermal expansion coefficient is different from that of GRC cement products. Causing cracks; In addition, when GRC lines are installed, especially when no expansion joints are left for horizontal lines, cracks will be caused when the joints are pulled or squeezed when the temperature changes.
Second, avoid potential safety hazards
To avoid rust expansion cracks along the direction of reinforcement in GRC components at the position of embedded steel skeleton, the embedded skeleton reinforcement and embedded parts in GRC components shall be galvanized reinforcement or stainless steel bars, or other rust prevention treatment shall be adopted to avoid rust expansion cracks and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Third, the building appearance is not affected
Water seepage of GRC lines and wall pollution After the installation and use of GRC lines on the exterior wall, especially when it rains below the horizontal lines, rainwater will seep out. The rainwater at the upper edge of the lines also flows along the lines to the wall, bringing the ash on the lines to the exterior wall. On the outer wall surface, various stains were formed, which seriously polluted the wall surface and affected the appearance of the building. One of the main reasons for this disease is that the wall painting layer at the installation line of the old building was not chiseled off and then painted during the installation of the line, or the new building was painted first and then installed the line, and then patched; Second, because the top cover plate opening of the horizontal line or column is not sloped, and no drip line is made, rainwater enters the line from the upper opening of the line, flows out from the lower opening of the line, or flows outward along the line, causing wall pollution.
Fourth, meet the construction requirements
When GRC lines are installed on the exterior wall, generally, 8~10 ordinary expansion bolts are installed on the exterior wall according to the installation drawing provided by the manufacturer, and then the "middle" expansion bolts are used? The quasi 6 rebar shall be welded with the embedded rebar on the line, or the decorative bump and window ceiling flower shall be fixed on the wall directly with expansion bolts. The above installation method generally adopts spot welding during construction. The length of the weld does not meet the requirements. After the expansion bolt is hit into the wall, it is easy to hit in the brick seam, which cannot work, and cannot meet the requirements of the Construction Code, which brings hidden dangers to the installation of GRC lines.
