GRC components are almost free from shape restrictions, and designers can freely design and play to their heart's content. GRC components have the advantages of decoration, appreciation, simulation, stereoscopy, and artistry. Their surfaces are fine and smooth, horizontal and vertical, and their curves are clear and changeable, with ups and downs. How are GRC components installed? How should joints be treated? How did the 6-meter high Roman column look like an integral whole? I believe these are the issues that many consumers are concerned about.
1. Before installing GRC components, determine the installation position and draw the reference line. Then install according to the reference line, and pay attention to adjusting the levelness and perpendicularity.
2. GRC window sleeve installation: install the window sleeve line along the wall outside the window frame, and pay attention to the fastening position of the expansion bolt to avoid the plastering layer. When installing the vertical window sideline or column to the elevation of each floor, pay attention to adjusting the vertical error. The elevation error shall be controlled within 3mm.
3. There are horizontal members of steel skeleton in GRC. Before installation, angle pieces or steel angles shall be fixed on the wall as welding points with steel skeleton. The weld width of all welding points shall not be less than 5mm, and the length shall not be less than 4 times of the diameter of the connecting bar. All welding slag shall be removed. The welding points of components shall be painted with red lead antirust paint, and the priming surface shall be painted with silver paint. When installing components with a section size of more than 300mm but less than 1000mm (without steel framework), mark the position of embedded parts on the insulation layer, cut the angle grinder for insulation, use expansion bolts to fasten the embedded galvanized embedded parts of GRC cement components with the wall, do a good job in node anti-corrosion treatment, and repair joints. For members with a section size less than 300mm, the extended expansion bolt shall be directly used to pass through the insulation layer and be fastened to the wall, and attention shall be paid to ensuring the anchor length of the bolt.
4. Joint treatment between GRC components: the joints on the surface of GRC cement components shall be flat and smooth. Use special repair materials to fill gaps or backfill. The purpose of backfilling is to connect GRC members with the main body as a whole to prevent the joints between GRC members and the main body from cracking. In addition, during backfilling, all waste residues and sundries on the backfilling surface must be removed, and the backfilling can only be carried out after being drenched with water, and reinforcement or bamboo pole shall be used to insert back the filler to make it dense without empty shell. The ceramsite concrete or expanded perlite shall be used as the bottom GRC filler for the large decorative line backfill, and the joint of backfill components shall be treated immediately. The backfill surface of trim line, column top and other components must also be polished with 8% slope making cement paste to make it smooth without water.
5. The treatment of the closing part of the window sleeve, such as the coping of the parapet, the sill plate, the wall under the window and other parts, should be beautiful and waterproof, and the construction should be strictly in accordance with the process (the civil construction unit should do flashing).
6. Window sleeve cleaning and finishing: cleaning and finishing is the last process before the completion acceptance of the project. Although the installation has been completed, this process should not be sloppy to ensure the quality of the finish. Pay attention to the protection of finished products in the whole process to facilitate the next surface spraying construction.
